NEW YORK, NY (April 18, 2018) - Madison Square Boys & Girls Club celebrated its 13th Annual Salute to Style event on April 18th at The Metropolitan Club. This year's select honorees included Helena Christensen, supermodel and photographer; Ala von Auersperg, resort wear designer and philanthropist; and Meredith Marks, luxury jewelry designer. Alex Badia, Fashion Director from Women’s Wear Daily, served as the Master of Ceremonies and model and Madison alumna Damaris Lewis served as the guest speaker. Raising nearly $100,000 for Madison Square Boys & Girls Club, support from this event provides life-changing programs to young people in New York’s most under-resourced communities.

Salute to Style welcomed over 240 guests at New York City’s iconic Metropolitan Club. In addition to the honorees, some key attendees included The Real Housewives of New York City star Ramona Singer, CNN anchor Poppy Harlow, designer Nicole Miller, industry insider Erika Bearman, celebrity stylist Ty Hunter, designer Camilla Staerk, and many others. The event’s silent auction featured more than 100 items that highlight elements from all aspects of the world of style including, apparel, accessories, home décor, artwork, and more, from top designers to raise funds for Madison’s many programs. Past events have honored Ty Hunter, Dee Ocleppo Hilfiger, Amber Sabathia, Tim Gunn, Nicole Miller, Milly, Badgley Mischka, and Vera Wang.
