Joel E. Smilow Clubhouse Hosts 4th Annual Tito Diaz Memorial Swim Meet

On Saturday, January 12, the Madison Square Boys & Girls Club's Joel E. Smilow Clubhouse will host the 4th Annual Tito Diaz Memorial Swim Meet in honor of the Club's first Aquatics Director, Mr. Tito Diaz. The event will feature 11 youth swim teams from Manhattan, the Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, New Jersey and Boston, including Madison's own swim team, the Madison Dolphins.

The Joel E. Smilow Clubhouse Madison Dolphins includes 50 boys and girls ages nine to eighteen, from the Bronx community where the Clubhouse is located. Smilow's aquatics program is the largest minority swim program in New York City and is one of only two USA Swimming registered teams in the Bronx.
